So far, you may have received news in regards to the upcoming PACT Act and vape mail restrictions, especially in regards to USPS, FedEx, and UPS. We want to offer some clarity on how this may affect the vape shipments moving forward.

3AVAPE is committed to serving the vaping community and will continue to operate to serve our customers. Now Our team will be working with specialist carriers to build an extensive network of regional and local carriers for shipping deliveries, while adhering to compliance with State and Federal laws.

PACT Act Explaination:

In December 2020, a congressional amendment to the PACT Act was signed into the law as part of the omnibus spending bill. The effect of this new law broadens the definition of products to include electronic cigarettes, vapes, E-Liquids, and vaping accessories.

Starting March 27, 2021 the PACT will require online retailers to collect state and local excise taxes on vaping products and require Adult Signature on all deliveries nationwide. Other compliance requirements includes labeling and packaging, record-keeping, and State and Federal registration and reporting.

Moreover, USPS will be prohibited from accepting packages of vapor products. Regrettably, FedEx and UPS have voluntarily issued internal policy changes to stop the shipment of vapor products as well.

For your information, these carriers are expected to stop shipping vape products starting the following dates:
-FedEx, March 1
-UPS, April 5
-U.S. Postal Service (USPS), April 26 or earlier*
*Note: We anticipate the date to be enacted earlier.

What will be next?
Beginning March 25, 2021, our team will be activating the new delivery network, initially available for customers in certain regions of the U.S. The option will be shown at checkout.
Coverage will be limited in the initial rollout and we may not be able to serve our entire customer base due to logistical constraint or lack of regional carrier service. However, as the carrier’s coverage expands, we will make sure shipping services are made available as soon as possible so hang on tight. Shipping options, costs, and coverage area will be made available during the checkout process.
At the same time, we recommend customers to stock up on vaping gears and E-Liquids to ensure adequate inventory reserve while shipping operations are still normal.
Moving forward, all packages will require Adult Signature (21+) upon delivery. We strive to continue serving customers in the vaping community, maintaining high levels of customer service and product offerings. Thank you for your continued support for years to come!
